Instead I took the coward’s way out with that rose that doesn’t really mean anything. But anyhow, batter up, the next page is my favourite thing I think I’ve ever ever drawn…

I just spent a chunk of my Sunday morning reading this. I highly recommend it to anyone into biographical graphic novels about thr Canadian Infantry in World War II during the invasion of Normandy.
