OK, one of my fav New Yorker cartoonists of all time, Liza Donnelly, is going to come to SPX!!!!

For all of you cartoonists, or fans of cartooning, or just fans in general, this is her great personal view of What Is Cartooning from TED-Ed.

Here’s a detail of a spit-shine I did on this image, which has been seen on my main site for awhile now. I edited it for a new illustration promo postcard. The postcard shows this image as side A and the whole, small on the B side.

In the full version, you see a dedication to Charles Burns— that’s because in my first drafts I completely subconsciously ripped off this amazing drawing. The pose and idea in this final version of course retain a lot of similarities.
