Goddess Adriana and the SPX Collection at the Library of Congress

The SPX Executive Committee bows in deepest reverence to Goddess Adriana. We sing hosannahs in Her Name, as she has been spending a day a week for the last few months dutifully cataloging the mini comic collection we have at the Library of Congress.

Here is Adriana holding Drew Weing's Bugbear (a great mini, if you have never read it..), which as you can see now resides in its own acid free folder. The folder then goes into the acid free box you see on the table.

The box then goes into a huge air conditioned vault, to reside with the rest of the SPX Collection, along side such comics greats as Superman #1 and original Sunday pages of The Yellow Kid.

Adriana is working (gleefully, I might add..) on the Heidi MacDonald Collection, which The Beat’s founder graciously donated to us.

Adriana is entering bibliographic information about the minis into the LIbrary of Congress catalog, so that anyone can find them and go see them when they visit the LoC.
