I just got this in the mail!!!!! The Rock’Art portfolio book from Rock en Seine!
It is an A4 size book which contains 62 posters (each done by a different artist for each band that appeared on this festival) and is printed beautifully in full color over a thick matte paper. The posters are detachable so you can rip your favorites and put them up your walls.
I contributed with a poster, along with other amazing international artists. The pictures above show posters by Kerozen, Benjamin Marra, Camille Lavaud, Lika Nüssli, Mayumi Otero, Marguerite Sauvage and Dorotheé de Monfried. You can see all the posters here.I have two extra copies which are going for $25 each, so if you’re interested write to me at gatosaurio@gmail.com ; - )
More SPX 2012 art is coming down the pike!
I got a sneak-peek today at our kid-friendly poster created by the astoundingly talented Becky Dreistadt. If you thought Andy Runton’s Owly poster from 2005 was adorable, well just prepare yourself for full metal cute overload.
Along with writer Frank Gibson, Becky produces the whimsical, wonderful webcomic, Tiny Kitten Teeth (source for the above featured art) and we’re so pleased that she agreed to create a poster for the show!
Becky (and Frank?) will be at SPX this year, rolling with the mean-muggin’ TopatoCo crew so keep an eye our for her - and for her SPX 2012 poster, debuting soon!
