Today I was sad to see comics posted without credit somewhere for the millionth time, and aired my frustration on twitter. It gets me down sometimes, even though we all know what the internet is like! Credit the artists whose comics you post! They will love you all the days of your life, for a simple gesture.
But anyway, like all things, it goes both ways: there is bad out there, and there is good out there. The internet is a big old place with many awesome things and people, so let’s take some time to celebrate something we all love! Comics!
I asked those who followed me to send me their comic, so we can spread the love, and people can get some new eyeballs on their creations. There were a lot of responses! I copied them here for you, and encourage you to take a look. The list is long, but perhaps you will find a new favorite, who knows! Bookmark it and come back when you are ready for more. If you have a comic yourself, maybe you would like to add it in the notes and comments!

Hey there! It’s question and answer time!
A few weeks ago I put out an open call for questions about the comics industry. A penance maybe, for having so many unanswered emails on these kinds of topics. I’m sorry! My email is terrible.
Anyway: I said I would answer the most frequently asked questions, to the best of my ability. This isn’t a book on how to make comics, I can only speak from my own experience (in some places this will be painfully obvious), so keep that in mind. Questions came from all over the spectrum of artists, so if you are, say, a teenager and read an answer that seems crazy inapplicable, I possibly had another type of person in mind when I typed the answer.
This is part one, part two will have the big two questions that I got asked most of all- “how do I get people to read my comic” and “how do I generate an income.” Anyway I’m still talking, as usual, too much of that, let’s get going.

Today I went with Scott to a book event for Zombie In Love, a children’s book he recently illustrated. As you can see, it was the cutest and best thing in the world and kids are amazing (so amazing!) and I made some new tiny pals. There are some more book events this month and I suggest you take all your babies to them. Yes: all the babies.
Curio Books is a company that sells old picture books, but the publish several scans of the books as they go on sale as well, so it’s a real treasure trove! If you like an image, save it, because once the book is sold the images go down. This fighting picture is one of my favorite finds from there, I love it!
