DRIVE. One of the ten-dollar sketches I do; you can buy one here, and see all the ones to date here. This was one of a set of two, along with a Steve McQueen “Bullitt.” Usually I wouldn’t take a request that specific, but they seemed like they’d be pretty easy.
OH HEY SPEAKING OF EASY— I have a ton of surprise bills (and some regular, non-surprise bills) that I need to pay, so I’m having a half-off sale on everything I sell through in my store site: dharbin.bigcartel.com All you have to do is buy any 3 items or more, then enter YESPLEASE in the discount window during checkout. You’ll get half-off everything! That means a one-hour drawing would be $20 instead of $40, prints would be between $7 and $15—it’s pretty crazy. Limited time only—once I get a few bills paid I’ll take the discount down. Doing a drawing for $5 and then shipping it is like working for $1 an hour. But I gots to have me some stimulus!
So! Go here, buy 3 items or more, then put YESPLEASE in the discount field. And if you feel like it, let your friends or followers or whomever know about it—and thanks very much!
Here’s my illustrated response to the movie Drive, starring Ryan Gosling. Read it on The Hairpin!
I like Ryan Gosling. I liked him in The Notebook, Half Nelson, Lars and the Real Girl, and Google Image Search. And driving around LA at night while listening to pop music is my favorite thing on Earth, so seeing Drive was a no-brainer.
