Our thanks to the Tumblr staff for all the lurve and support!
Hey, meetups, we’re lookin’ at you!
Share, share share! Help us spread the word!
"Short and merciless stories" by Marco Taddei and Simone Angelini. The printer proof examined of the upcoming Tinto Press Publication to debut at Small Press Expo September 2014
“Taddei and Angelini’s “Short And Merciless Stories” are a heady expressionist cocktail with a bare-bones artistic approach, mixed with tones of a Rod Serling on psychedelics channelling Sartre while relating these tales. Deceptively simple in appearance, these bizarre, yet simultaneously familiar-feeling stories, will stick with you: a creative ice pick driven deeply into the brain. Like a lascivious ghost from some hell haunting you: they just won’t go away. Nor will you want them to.”

A comic I made for the Comics Workbook Composition Competition. You can read it here.
If you enjoyed it and like big paper comics, I’ll be printing it as a tabloid newspaper, which you can preorder on my website for $15 (includes worldwide shipping; ships late September.) Thanks!

SPX at the Library of Congress
In a first of its kind relationship, SPX teamed with the Library of Congress to establish the SPX Collection. This collection allows the Library of Congress to further its commitment to comics with donations to the collection from the creators who attend the SPX festival.
The SPX Collection at the Library of Congress also houses the winners of the prestigious Ignatz Awards and originals of the art produced for the SPX festival.
