HOW?
I got to see Jim Rugg’s original art for the SPX program cover for last year and it was amazing in such a baffling “How is that even possible?” kind of way. Rugg’s an incredible artist. (That’s still my favorite program cover, by the way. And in a lot of ways, my favorite piece of SPX art, period. I wanted to steal it but I did not because I’m a good person)Drive | Jim Rugg
Another phenomenal peice by Jim Rugg, done only with ballpoint pens and spiral notebook paper. The Notebook Nerd exhibition by Jim Rugg is on display at iam8bit in Los Angeles, California.

A time lapse art video that my loved one Neil helped me make back in 2009. I’d love to do more like this someday! Visual art is such a solitary occupation, and often times it feels like the finished product is all that matters of the performance, but I do like to see a picture evolve.

I’m having a show Friday night!
It’s called One Night Stand and it is open for only one night. I’m working with Devon Mcknight and Alex Mckenzie (two great Mcartists in Greensboro).
There will be free champagne and good deals on our work! I’ll be selling my paintings as well as Uggly Jungle prints(above) so come by and check it out!
It will be across from the CVA inside of the Greensboro Cultural Center downtown.

The Pokémon Battle Royale show is created and curated by Alyssa Nassner and Bryan Ische. The Minnesota illustrators recently brought together the talents of 151 artists and pokemon lovers to reimagine the video game series’ 151 original characters. They’ve built out an online gallery on tumblr for the Battle Royale and for all of those that were unable to make it to the gallery. Limited prints will be available through Light Grey’s Store. This is only a small selection of the awesome prints they have.
