This is my personal copy of Scribbles in a Sandstorm. Since this book was so important to us, I wanted to do a beyond-deluxe version (I made two and gave one to Carol) using handmade paper with printing directly on the cover (unlike the normal edition, which has a cover pastedown). Thing is, this paper is around $30 per sheet, so I didn’t have any extra when I messed up the printing on my copy, and it came out off-center. Carol volunteered to add to it by hand, which just made this copy that much more unique. Also of note is that the title page and colophon (also pastedowns in the normal version) are mounted on hinges so they don’t cover up the pretty paper. And, Carol made a special colored version of her 16 Dans print that I included as well. Very nice.
